A Japanese Meiji period bronze figure, of a samurai warrior with sward or the Katana in Japanese, standing in flowing robes holding a sword to his front and ready to fight. The attention to detail is very good and the crispness of the casting is there to be seen, finished in a lovely patina. It is in fine overall condition and is finished on a solid bronze casting.
