These particular type of Victorian influence as seen in its design. It comes in three parts: two pedestal-like stands with drawers fitted in them and a table top that likewise have drawers and is placed on top of the stands. The desk's top has a mortised-and-tenoned frame in which the floating panels are beautifully assembled by tongue-and-groove and below the panels are the three fitted drawers with interesting brass handles. The two stands each have one drawer on each side and four corner legs. These legs are joint together by base stretchers with simple latticework and as such serves as a low shelf beneath the drawers.
