A square-cornered wedding cabinet is usually found in the province of Zhejiang in China. This elegant and distinctive piece of it traditional furniture evokes memories of gaiety and celebration for family being a piece normally presented for the bridal suite on wedding day. This type of wedding cabinet comes in several colors; the color of red lacquer is always traditionally symbolizes happiness and prosperity, drives away bad luck and evil spirits. Black is a color representing high status, power and importance. Black lacquer is rare, Green lacquered cabinets are presented to wedding couple who married to the same clan. It is equally rare and unique.
