A Japanese figure of a scholar boy

Antique Japanese Kimekomi* doll of a boy, dressed in rich silk brocade court costume and hairs were tied tightly on top of his head. He holds brush his right hands with the posture of working on his painting. Doll’s face finished in gofun (crashed oyster shell) and hand-painted artistically, and long black hair tied up in a bundle on a head top.
